EarthScope Station M49A


This is what got the whole blog idea started. EarthScope gave us a call and wanted to know if we would be willing to be a host site for a seismograph. It was installed and transmitting by July 19, 2012.


This is an example of the data. Look at the wide green trace to the right of 8:00. That was a small earthquake in Arkansas… If you look to the right of the blue 14:00 mark, you will see a double sided comb pattern with long broken teeth. What caused that?….(See next pic)
