EarthScope: Mystery in Edgerton, OH

This is the same Russian earthquake that our station M49A picked up. Only this station is M48A in Edgerton, Ohio about 43 miles(70Km) to the west. This station, like all other stations, has its own unique pattern. Notice the regular beads? As it turns out, there is a pair of RAILROAD TRACKS about 2 miles south of this station. Obviously, the train traffic is pretty regular…How often?…at slow times, once in two hours…at fast times….over 6 times in 2 hours!

Today?….Just look…

See all the trains? The amplitude is turned back up because there have been no major disturbances today….so lots of little vibes….
